I guess this a decent reason to not go public with an allergy. It is such a shame because we do need some publicity to help get the word out. I do think that allergies are more in the public view then ever before. But, I think that only people who have had some first hand experience really truly understand the problem. The question is though, should we allow fear to dictate what we do? What if some advocate of an allergy got somehow thrust in the lime light? I don't know, I think that fear of exposure can not be the only motivating factor. I mean celebrities have to trust all kinds of people for all kinds of things. They could just be poisoned too. There is not a rash of that kind of thing happening that I know of. Doesn't every one have an adverse reaction to arsenic? Do they not want to get a reputation for being difficult? Who knows.
