YOu are correct. We were told that the reason is to protect themselves and their family members who may have the allergies. It is too risky unfortunately to make them and/or family members vulverable to "crazies" in our world. We are deperately seeking a celebrity to raise thier hand and to join our cause. We have started a foundation to put pressure on food mfg to ensure the food is labeled accurately.
We recently had an episode with Tofutti Cuties in which milk was detected as an ingredient and my son had an anaphylactic reaction.
