Santa and Mrs. Claus magicaly appear at Macy's John Hancock Center, Daley Plaza and Navy Pier during the Christmas holidays. Take kids to visit and take pictures.

Santa Claus will be visiting children in the City of Chicago during the Christmas season. Magically, the Jolly Old Elf can appear in many places at once, collect wish list and make merry Christmas memories for the family. Take the kids to see the bright lights of the City of Chicago, where the streets are decorated with lights and holiday decorations. Some Santa sightings in downtown Chicago include Macy's on State Street, John Hancock Observatory, Daley Plaza and Navy Pier.

Macy's on State Street

Macy's, formerly Marshall Fields, is a holiday tradition in Chicago, with elaborately decorated windows, the Great Tree in the Walnut Room and Santa Claus visiting with the children.

Santa will be at the store until December 24. The Jolly Old Elf is in the Fifth Floor Children's Department. Have childrens pictures taken with Santa.

Macy's Santa Breakfasts take place on December 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21. Breakfast is at 9:00 am, doors open at 8::45; The family is invited to breakfast with Santa Claus.The event included a plated breakfast, children's entertainment and a visit from Santa. Tickets are $16 per person, $12 for children under 10 years old. Seating is limited. Call 1-800-206-1995 roe reservations. Bring a camera to take pictures.

Santa's Winter Wonderland at John Hancock Center

Santa and Mrs. Claus ill be at the John Hancock Observatory every Saturday and Sunday, November 15 - December 21 and on December 24. Each family will get a free family photo with Santa. Children 4-11 are admitted free with a full fare adult admission.

Breakfast with Santa is on December 20-21 from 9 - 11 am. Seatings are at 9 am, 10 am and 11 am. Adults $25, Children (4-11) $15. Space is limited. Call Nicole Roberto for reservations 1-312-654-5019.

Santa House at Daley Plaza

Find Santa at his house under the Great Christmas Tree on Daley Plaza, which is festive with the German Christkindlemarkt. Santa is at Daley Place every day from November 27 to December 24. Events at Daley Plaza are sponsored by the Mayor's Office of Special Events.

Santa at Navy Pier

Santa Claus arrives at Navy Pier on the evening of November 29 and stays until December 24. Kids can visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus and the elves. Santa and his friends from the North Pole will be in the Family Pavilion from 11 am to 7 pm. On Wednesday, December 24 the hours are 11 am to 3 pm. Admission is free.
